Processing

On our servers; no third party receives your files

• The export contains page images only: selectable text, links, forms, bookmarks, attachments, and some accessibility information are removed. It is not lossless and may be larger than the source.
• Only the regions you select are removed. Review every page before sharing.
• Pages are flattened as displayed: annotations and form fields appear in the export only when the PDF includes their appearance streams, and then only as pixels.
• Up to 50 pages and 500 regions; rendering is capped at 200 DPI and 20 megapixels per page.
• Encrypted PDFs are rejected.

What happens to your files

Uploaded files and results are temporary: access ends 24 hours after you start, and the files are then deleted. Signing in does not change that. Choosing Save to my documents makes a verified copy in your workspace that stays until you delete it. Full retention policy.
