Getting started
Upload, convert, sign in, download, and save, in that order.

Pick a tool from the tools page, for example Images to PDF. Before you upload, the page tells you the limits that apply and that a free account is required to view and download the result.
Add your files and start the conversion. Upload progress shows measured bytes. While the file is being converted the progress bar is indeterminate because we do not know the exact work remaining, and we do not invent a percentage.
When the result is ready you are asked to sign in with Google or an email code. Signing in is free and there is no payment step. Once signed in, the result page shows a preview, the download button, and the exact time the file expires if you do nothing.
Download the result whenever you like inside that window. Downloading does not delete the file and does not extend its expiry.
If you want to keep the document, choose Save. Saving copies the file into your documents, where it stays until you delete it. Anything you do not save expires 24 hours after the upload session started.
