Deleting files
Trash, restore, permanent deletion, and what we can and cannot undo.

Temporary results do not need to be deleted. They expire on their own at the time shown on the result page.
Saved documents can be moved to the trash from your documents list. They stay there for 7 days, during which you can restore them. The trash shows the deadline for each item.
To remove a document sooner, delete it permanently from the trash. New access is revoked immediately. The item shows Deleting until the file has actually been removed from storage, then disappears. We do not show Deleted while the file can still be read.
Deleting your whole account is available in your privacy settings. It removes your saved documents, previews, and account record after you confirm.
We cannot recall copies that have already been downloaded, by you or by anyone you shared them with.
