Why do I need an account?
An account is how we know whose file to show you. It is free.

In the standard flow you can start a conversion without an account, but you sign in before you view or download the result. We tell you this before you upload anything.
The account is what lets us tie the result to you, show it to you again later within its window, and let you save it. Without it, anyone who guessed the link would be able to see your file.
Creating an account is free and takes a Google sign-in or a 6-digit email code. There is no payment step between signing in and your file, and your first eligible results are free to download and save.
We may occasionally offer some visitors a download without signing up, as part of an experiment. If you see that option, the same expiry window applies and you can still create an account to save the file.
